Music is the only thing that makes sense...

I love music. Music speaks to my soul. If nothing else, all I need is an iPod with my favorite playlists to be happy. (Such playlists would include: I'm Better than You, Moving on & Moving Out, Volumes 1-3, Let's Get It On, Parts 1-4, Ok, This Time I'm Really Going To Clean, "Road Trips to the beach with Carol".)

Music helps me run better ("
Gangsta's Paradise"- Coolio), drive longer (10 Things I Hate About You soundtrack), clean more efficiently/actually clean (SheDaisy's "Sweet Right Here" album), gets me in the mood to bake (Sia and The Bird And The Bee), helps me feel happy ("What I Got" by Sublime, anyone??).

I LOVE MUSIC (can't say it enough). I am Queen Of The Music Domain. I know and love EVERYTHING (I could list all the genres, but you might not know/appreciate them all). Don't even try to think you know artists/songs/albums better than me, because I'll always win at this game.

I also love/live by my (cue heavenly-angels-from-on-high singing) ~~iPod~~. And it's currently lost in a chaotic jumble-jungle, also known as "my room". And so my running/driving/cleaning/ baking/LIFE/very essence of my SOUL have been sorely lacking.

I'm stuck in a catch-22: I need to clean my room to find my iPod... but I need my iPod to clean... but I need to clean my room to FIND my iPod... but I need my iPod to clean... and it keeps on going and going in circles...

I guess I'll have to bust out/dust off the old CDs I have. Ugh---CDs---so much space waste with so little music-storage-capacity.

In the (sort of) words of Lupe Fiasco: [i-Pods] have saved MY LIFE."

Mmm-mmm Vampires & Werewolves

Just in case you haven't seen this on E.T. or youtube, here it is.

Is it just me, or is that EXACTLY what Edward and Bella are supposed to look like?

Movie Trailer: 12.12.08 (Cristina's B-day!)

Behind-the-Scenes

I can watch these over and over and over and over.

Not too shabby Jake, not too shabby...

---------------------------------------------------->>

Vampire or werewolf?? Edward or Jacob?? I can't decide!! Tell me what you think.

P.S. Re-reading the Twilight series to gear up for the new book coming out in 15 days... I just finished the 2nd one when I realized, with horror, that the 3rd book was with my aunt, Carol, 2 hours away in Long Beach. Had to make a Target run and purchase "Eclipse" for $13.37.

Just Do It Tracie~~~ 26.2 Miles isn't THAT long~~~

I figure the best way for me to actually do a marathon is to tell as many people as possible and to write it down so I see it every day and therefore can't shy away from it.

Goal: Run the L.A. Marathon on March 1, 2009.

I've already looked up a training program thanks to the Runners World website. (Program designed for runners who have never ran over 6 miles... that's me~~) I would have to start 16 weeks before the race, so I would start training the first week of November.

I figure training in Utah in cold weather will be good for my lungs and endurance and will make race day somewhat easier. If there is such a way to make running 26.2 MILES any easier.

It's a daunting task, but I will do it.

I really DON'T want to run it by myself. I'm trying to enlist Tawnie Dee McCaa to run with me, but so far, no good. Any takers? Jill? Brittany? (HA JOKE Britt) Kellie my sister? Bradley my brother? Anyone? Anyone? (Adrienne, I don't even know if you like to run, but you are exempt from my marathon draft... if it comes to that...)

Lonely Lucy; Put Ya Stunna Shades On

I love MSNBC's Photo Stories. Here are some I found today:

Lonely Lucy

"A terrier named Lucy looks over the side of a canoe as she waits to paddle back to her home with owner John Pharis Tuesday, June 24, 2008, in South Shore, Mo. Pharis' house is surrounded by floodwater from the Mississippi River, but has stayed relatively dry so far because it sits high up." (AP Photo/Jeff Roberson)

I couldn't resist this one (though I vehemently oppose dressing dogs up, Baby seems to be owning it):
Put Ya Stunna Shades On

"'Baby,' sporting designer glasses, participates in the pet costume contest held at the Roswell Convention and Civic Center Saturday morning July 5, 2008, during the 2008 Roswell UFO Festival. 'Baby' eventually took the 3rd place prize.(AP Photo/Roswell Daily Record, Mark Wilson) ".
