Tracie's Top 10 Best Kid's TV Shows of the Late 80s/Early 90s
I had a conversation last night about what TV shows I loved to watch as kids. As I thought about it more today, I was able to compile a list of my 10 favorite shows I watched in the late 80s and early 90s. Am I forgetting anything??? Keep in mind, this list does not include Saturday Morning Cartoons of the 90s. That list is for another time.
10. Eureeka's Castle!
9. Jim Henson's Mother Goose Stories
8. The Snorks
7. The World of David the Gnome
6. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood
5. Sharon, Lois & Brams Elephant Show
4. Under the Umbrella Tree
3. Muppet Babies
2. Dinosaurs
1. FRAGGLE ROCK
Does anyone else remember watching these???

8 people have something to say about this:
Fraggle Rock is definitely the best!
I LOVE Fraggle Rock. I found the song as a ringer on my boyfriends phone a while back, and I'll never let him change it!
And reading those names, Eureka's Castle, David the Gnome, The Elephant Show, Umbrella Tree...holy crap that put a huge smile on my face and some serious memories came up. Thanks for digging these up outta your head files :)
I've seen basically all of those shows, and love your selections. Great memory to catch David the Gnome. There was also a show called Encyclopedia I remember watching, but I can't find any info in it. Also, Mr. Wizard.
Wow, that brought back some great memories. Too bad kids today don't get to watch all those shows!
What, no Care Bears?*

*Yes, it was technically a Saturday morning cartoon (ABC, 1986-88), but so was The Snorks (NBC, 1984-88).
And so was Muppet Babies!
great list such memories...they dont make em like that anymore!
Those are awesome. Don't forget the Smurfs, Carebears, Muppet Babies, Growing Pains, and of course the original Muppet Show.
As you can see I love the muppets and anything Disney.
Do you remember the game show Pictionary? I was the BOMB at that game. HA!
I love the list, I think I'll have to compile one of my own.
